Phantom-like dark energy from quantum gravity

We analyse the emergent cosmological dynamics corresponding to mean field hydrodynamics of quantum gravity condensates, in tensorial group theory formalism. focus particular on effects fundamental interactions, and contributions from different geometric modes. The general consequence such interactions is produce an accelerated expansion universe, which can happen both at early times, after bounce predicted by model, late times. Our main result that, while this fails give a compelling inflationary scenario it produces naturally phantom-like dark energy compatible with observations. By recasting terms effective equation state, we show that generically cross phantom divide, purely out without need any additional matter. Furthermore, avoids Big Rip singularity, approaching instead de Sitter universe asymptotically.
